He'd been born in simpler times--#WeekendWritingWarriors and #SexySnippets from my current WIP #vampires #amwriting #romance

Happy Sunday, lovelies!

I'm back! After some great holidays spending time with family in California, meeting Mickey Mouse and then traveling to Edinburgh, Scotland to explore castles and volcanoes, I've returned. LOL

I've done some writing this month too and today I'd like to give you a glimpse into Christopher Beaufort.

Can't wait to get back to reading your snippets!

Hugs!

Christopher leaned back against his office chair. He stifled a yawn and ran his fingers through his hair, massaging his scalp as he did. He would only close his eyes for thirty seconds.

One minute.

The sound of his cell phone drilling into his eardrums lurched him awake. He swiveled in his chair, fumbling to find the machine from hell. With the back of his hand, he smacked it and threw it crashing onto the floor.

Blessed silence.

At the back of his mind he knew he should be more concerned about the device, but he’d been born in a time when those things didn’t exist and weren’t a necessity. Simpler times.

  7. That... was probably an important call or something. He's going to regret that, I sense it.

  8. There's a lot to be said for a life without cellphones - no 'junk' calls for a start - yikes, but what if it was something important? I enjoyed this snippet!
